Mandi Strickland, Director of Care & Support Services
Mandi is proud to be part of the Home Instead team and brings over a decade of experience in our industry. Her background is extensive and diverse, including seniors’ recreation, wellness marketing and sales, and administration and caregiver scheduling. She is a people-person who especially enjoys our seniors, who offer so much in the way of stories and experiences. Mandi believes aging should be active and engaged. She feels the key to a happy, healthy life is understanding when a bit of help may be needed to continue living involved, rewarding lives.

Shelby Rhodes, Service & Training Supervisor
Shelby has excitedly joined the Home Instead Team! Shelby brings over a decade of experience in the Senior Care Industry and further knowledge in Mental Health and Harm Reduction. Shelby genuinely cares about improving the quality of everyone’s life and believes care should be person centered. Shelby feels that compassion and understanding is the key to successfully building relationships with our clients and their families. Shelby is excited to bring her years of experience and passion to the Home Instead Team.

Katie Leach, Client Care Coordinator
Katie is a dedicated Client Care Coordinator with nine years of experience in health care, specializing in mental health, personal care, and dementia support. Throughout Katie’s career, she has cultivated a deep understanding of the unique challenges and needs of individuals requiring compassionate and personalized care. Katie’s expertise lies in creating tailored care plans, providing emotional support, and ensuring the highest standards of service are consistently met. With a strong focus on fostering trust and meaningful connections, Katie brings a caring touch to every interaction, whether with clients, families, or team members. Katie’s passion lies in enhancing the quality of life for those she serves by addressing their physical, emotional, and mental well-being with empathy and professionalism. Katie is genuinely excited to meet knew people and bring out their best self, and help them live the lives they deserve to live.

Carmen Smith, Community Relations Representative
As the Community Relations Representative for Home Instead, Carmen is deeply committed to fostering connection and enhancing the lives of our aging population within the communities we serve. Carmen's passion lies in building meaningful relationships that empower seniors and their families, ensuring they receive the support and resources they need to thrive. Carmen prioritizes and fosters our referral partner relationships, recognizing the vital role they play in connecting seniors with services and support. By collaborating with local organizations, advocating for senior rights, and promoting awareness of the unique challenges faced by older adults, Carmen strives to create an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and cared for. Her role not only allows her to engage with the community but also to make a tangible difference in the lives of those we are lucky enough to be in service to.
