In Nov 2019, Sherri decided to make a career change after 18 years running a daycare. She said she viewed the opportunity to care for older adults as a natural transition from childcare.
Sherri is a rising star who has transformed her passion for caring into an impressive career in elder care. She brings positive energy, dedicated habits, and attentive care routines to her client. For four and a half years Sherri devoted herself to one client’s overnight care, an assignment which proved her immense capacity as a Care Pro. She created a routine for herself, to ensure her health and was able to give her good energy at night. Sherri leads her team by supplying perspective on the client’s abilities, orienting new Care Pros to the team, soothing her client, and smoothing relations with care home staff during high stress times. She faces challenges head-on and remains resilient.
