Bubbly, cheerful, and vibrant – a few things that come to mind when our CAREGiver's Tannis and Karlene describe Lynette. Unlike most of their other clients, Lynette is not a senior but a young woman with Cerebral Palsy who needs support getting ready and out the door for work every morning.
Lynette wakes up bright and early to prepare for her day at work. Her CAREGivers arrive at 6:30 am to help Lynette with her morning routine and to make sure she is out the door to make it to work on time.
Lynette loves going to work with her friends at New Leaf where she works in food services. She's busy every day preparing home-made baked goods for New Leaf Café's three stores throughout Halifax and their catering services. Our CAREGivers are so proud to contribute to Lynette's passion by ensuring she gets out that door for work every morning.
