Greg Bechard, Home Instead franchise owner in Ontario, Canada, was recently featured in Canadian Franchise Association’s online publication for making numerous charitable contributions to older adults in his community.
Bechard, who operates numerous franchises with his sister, said his inspiration for involvement in social purpose stems from his mother who encouraged him to get involved in the community. He said that type of outlook is a big part of his – as well as other Home Instead owners’ – success.
“You’ve got genuinely motivated people who care about seniors,” said Bechard. “And I think that is part of the reason that leads to our tremendous success -- is that we do it because we care.”
