Similar to a musical maestro, who conducts and orchestrates symphonies, Omo expertly navigates and harmonizes with people's emotional experiences. Omo accomplishes this through her compassionate approach to her work and life. For example, despite living in Ontario at the time of her application, her motivation to bring health and happiness to those who were lonely and lacking support shone through to our recruiter. Omo has carried this unwavering commitment to empathy from her recruitment process, into her work with clients and the office.
Upon entering a room, Omo is keenly aware of the impact she makes upon others, and how her attitude and actions influence her client’s experience. When caring for a palliative client in their home, she was able to recognize what the client and family needed; either offering encouraging conversation and companionship or allowing the client and family space completing housekeeping tasks in another room. This awareness helped build trust between Omo and her client as the client could rely on Omo to provide the exact care needed, no matter the day.
