We celebrate Gindy’s accomplishments with her clients. It all started back in September of 2021 when you decided to join our team. You wanted to focus more on giving one-on-one care to older adults, stepping away from working at a personal care home. We are very glad you decided to make a change finding a new calling with Home Instead. Since you joined the company you have seen 31 clients and logged over 950 hours. You are so very skilled in your job, very confident and really, we can send you to anyone. You have the ability to make others feel instantly comfortable and cared for as you are genuine, warm and caring, making it easy to relate to others and build trust. Your many years of experience lend to your confidence and professionalism.
You have managed that not so easy task of balancing home life and being a Care Professional. You are committed to your seniors. You also continue to work overnights and on every weekend. When you have additional availability, you always contact our office to offer additional help through the week if needed, including Christmas Day. You are unflapped by any situation and can connect with different people and varying ages and abilities. You have connected over Pokemon with one younger client, helped at home and with meals and companionship with another, brought joy and care to two of your ladies living in long-term care, and now have joined another team working overnights. With all of your clients, you bring a calming presence, making the energy in the room feel like everything is now going to be ok. You are a gentle spirit and roll with things as they happen, caring with great capacity.
You are a great communicator and have skilled observation and reporting skills, making you very proactive with clients especially those who are not able to express their needs. You are thoughtful, gentle and so very well-skilled and our clients are very blessed to have your care and support. In turn, our office is very lucky to have you as a part of our care team knowing you are a trusted professional.
You have expressed with us how much you enjoy your work and your clients and have described what you see-it is that joy and caring for others that is the true heart of a Care Professional and we honour your talent everyday.
