We are happy to announce Keri as our the Care Pro of the month for July!
Keri joined our team just in September of 2022, logging over 1400 hours. She has dedicated herself to overnight care with one gentleman out in Warman. She has never missed a shift despite winter weather. She is dependable and reliable, trustworthy and dependable, and is open to any changes that are needed for the client or the Company. She is a real team player and a very supportive employee.
Now overnights are not for everyone but Keri has risen to this assignment. Her client is often awake by 3am and is ready to start his day and she has developed a very special bond, earning his trust. He fondly calls her Charlie Brown a term of endearment he used to call his wife. This client lives with dementia and through this journey of serving him, Keri has grown in her understanding of the disease. It was a bit of a rocky start at first but she were so eager and willing to learn the best practices and techniques and now she has created a wonderful connection.
We have witnessed the growth in Keri as a Care Pro as she learns new ways of engagement with her client. We see how she wants to learn in order to serve and help make her client’s time as fulfilling as possible. Keri is very teachable and such a great communicator with the office. We have witnessed the breakthroughs she has made as she grows, learns and improves the quality of this specialized care.
Keri is professional yet gentle, respectful and kind. She has a great sense of humor and is very gracious. When her overnight schedule altered to include more weekends, she was supportive of the change. She was flexible and more than willing to take on weekend shifts being supportive of both the Company, other Care Professionals but mainly the client. She always has the client first in mind knowing that these changes for him would be a positive experience.
Keri is a very dedicated and caring Care Professional who has grown in skill and confidence. Keri is a warm, humble and compassionate person and we embrace the amazing work she has done. We are honoured that she is a part of our team! Congratulations!
