We are very excited to announce that Donna has been chosen as our Care Pro of the month for October 2022.
You began with Home Instead in Dec. of 2021 and when Care Pros come to work with Home Instead, there is something special about them and with you, we quickly learned that you have many special qualities that make matching you with clients, a simple and delightful experience.
One of your first assignments involved a lovely young and clever woman living with advancing dementia and surprising climbing skills that created risk for her. You quickly caught on and creatively found ways to solve many issues at her home, helping her family to maintain her safety and care and filling her days with tenderness and joy and connection. It took a special person to connect so well with her and you were able to do that with ease.
We have watched you work for nearly a year now and noticed your gentle, patient presence quickly makes others feel calm and safe. You are very down-to-earth, warm and have a kind-hearted spirit. Your soothing manner is exactly what clients need and we are so glad you chose to share your heart with them.
You consistently arrive early, well-prepared, and open to whatever the experience is going to be. We have observed you adapt to the situation, sometimes in a matter of seconds, showing that you have keen observational and communication skills, which serve you so well in this role.
Whether you are regularly seeing a client or temporarily filling in, you quickly build trust and form relationships, and this is evident in reports, but also in the feedback we receive from clients and their families. They have confidence in you and know that your care is genuine and sincere. They know that their loved one is in good hands as you are a wonderful advocate for them.
Donna, you are always willing and no matter what, you put your very best into each client visit. You have carefully thought things through and are ready to provide a wonderful experience.
We also know that when it comes to any changes in client care or with office communication, it is received and quickly confirmed. You understand that providing quality care is a team effort and we appreciate that.
It’s such a pleasure watching you continuously grow as you work to assist families with their loved ones. You continually go that extra step, showing how invested you are in excellent care for our clients. We can confidently tell clients who will be meeting you that they are going to highly enjoy having you with them and they are never disappointed.
We know that you take your job seriously and the effort that you put into it, but we have also seen your playful side, and this is just another addition to your incredible skill set.
It is a true pleasure having you as part of the Home Instead team. You emit a beautiful presence Donna, and others just naturally gravitate to this. Thank you for sharing your kindness and tender-hearted care. There are so many families that benefit from someone exactly like you, with all your experience, wisdom, and knowledge but also with the compassion and drive to do what is right.
