Linda, we are delighted to recognize you as our Care Professional of the month for April!
After 35 years in the insurance industry, you have been with Home Instead for just over a year and have served more than 800 hours with 20 clients. Here are some of the things we appreciate about you and your care for clients.
We see you putting your heart and soul into your work, attending to clients with compassion and warmth. Clients are put at ease by how you relate to them; they sense your genuine care and concern. You have taken care of a variety of people and we appreciate your willingness to adjust your availability to help when needed. Your work with 'D’ was exceptional… it was an assignment out of the ordinary. You went in there with no judgment… simply to serve.
You are a pleasure to introduce to a new client, arriving well prepared after thoroughly reviewing the care plan. You communicate with Rita to improve the client’s experience by clarifying care plans and suggesting improvements. You prepare in advance what kinds of activities will engage your client and be enjoyed by them.
We enjoy reading your reports about ingenious ways you solve problems for our clients. For example, when a client living with dementia didn’t want to shower because his catheter bag was getting wet, you solved that with a cast cover. You actively contribute to your client’s care plan updates, and we appreciate your insight and initiative to take the lead and improve the quality of life of the people you serve.
You are dependable, reliable, and confident! As a result, we can send you to any client, in any situation. It is a joy for us to know that, wherever we send you, you will embrace the opportunity to serve that client and support that family.
