June 2022 Care Professional of the Month - Wafaa M.
It is time to announce this month’s Care Professional of the month. This month we have selected a Care Professional who has taken on various challenges and mastered them all. She has worked all types of shifts and often fills in for last minute sick calls. Overnight shifts, full day shifts, and 3-hour social visits are just a few examples of the shifts she happily takes on. Overall, this month Care Professional Wafaa Maswadee is a wonderful Care Professional who is both personable and proactive.
Wafaa Maswadee is personable in how she wants to get to know each and every individual she cares for, she genuinely wants to hear their stories and will call the office to share with the team. Wafaa has done a fantastic job of connecting with people of various backgrounds and has even made a strong relationship with a client despite speaking different languages. When Wafaa feels she is not making a deep connection with someone, she does not give up, she looks and searches for ways to make a connection. You can see in our client’s faces, the pure joy she brings them.
Joy is also felt by our client’s family as they know their loved one is in capable hands with Wafaa. She is proactive and inquisitive. She reviews care plans on a regular basis and messages the office to update care plans to ensure all care professionals are on the same page, improving the overall quality of care. If something is unclear, Wafaa asks for clarification and is open to feedback. She is a true team player.
