This is extremely good news for Seniors in Alberta and more locally, here in Calgary. While Public Home Care has been around for decades, this program has been known for meeting only the basic needs of the seniors. Now, with the Client Directed Home Care Program, YOU are in control. You are in control of where you or the older adult in your life want to age, what schedule works for them and what Company you want to hire to provide this care.
The Client Directed Home Care Program grants Alberta Seniors a set amount of funds that they can use to receive high quality care from Home Instead to stay at home. A Home Instead Care Professional will help with meal Planning, simple exercises, personal care, dementia care and so much more!
Most families use this as a subsidy to help reduce the amount they will need to pay to help keep their loved one safe at home. With 25-40 hours a week, most older adults can live the way they desire, at Home!
