Hiring Caregivers, Personal Support Workers & Developmental Support Workers Immediately!

Home Instead Senior Care is currently looking for caring and compassionate PSW/DSW’s to add to our wonderful team of CAREGivers. We are currently hiring for various hours – days, afternoons, evenings and overnights including every other weekend. We are hiring for Brantford, Paris and surrounding areas. You must have your G2/G drivers license and own vehicle to get to clients that may not be on a bus route.


Duties include, but are not limited to:
• Companionship and conversation
• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Medication and appointment reminders
• Alzheimer's Care
• Assistance with grooming and bathing (if applying for PSW)
• Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues (if applying for PSW)

Educational Requirements (if applying for PSW/DSW position):
• Personal Support Worker Certificate OR
• Developmental Support Worker Certificate

Requirements:
• Able to work flexible hours including every other weekend availability
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle to get to clients that may not be on a bus route
• Ability to lift, push or pull 25 pounds
• Ability to treat & care for clients and their property with dignity & respect
• Ability to adapt to various living environments & locations
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly & congenial manner
