Brantford Continues the Tradition of Giving

Written By: Home Instead Hamilton

Hundreds of Gifts Donated to Be a Santa to a Senior 2024

The spirit of giving in Brantford has once again illuminated the holiday season, with hundreds of gifts generously donated to our local Be a Santa to a Senior program. The tremendous support from our community this year has deeply touched us. We extend our sincere thanks to each person involved, from those selecting items from the wishlist to those who included extra gifts and heartfelt notes.

We must give special recognition to the grade 2 students who lovingly created festive cards for our seniors. These personal touches added an extra layer of joy and connection, bringing smiles and comfort to many. The generosity extended beyond individuals to local businesses and groups, whose significant contributions played a crucial role in spreading happiness among our senior citizens.

With hundreds of gifts and hundreds of dollars in monetary donations received this year, we ensured that seniors' holiday wishes at local hospitals and long-term care facilities were fulfilled. The funds received were used to purchase even more gifts for our seniors, ensuring that no one was left out during this festive season. As we conclude 2024's Be a Santa to a Senior, we are profoundly grateful to the Brantford community. Your acts of kindness have truly made a meaningful impact. Happy Holidays from our Home Instead family to yours!

A heartfelt thanks also goes to our dedicated volunteers who were instrumental in collecting, wrapping, and delivering these gifts. Your enthusiasm and commitment are the backbone of this successful initiative, ensuring every senior experienced the care and love of our community during the holidays.
