It is not just her skills as a care professional, but her personality that make her a favorite to all her clients and one of our best. Ruksana is caring, detail orientated, and displays expert knowledge in supporting all her clients. It is truly a joy to work with a care pro of such immense calibre and potential. Where were you born? Where did you grow up?
I was born in Yavatmal District of Maharashtra, India. As I did my primary and secondary education in Yavatmal, I would say that "Yavatmal" is the place where I was raised.
How long have you worked at Home Instead?
I will be completing my most exciting and amazing 1st year anniversary with Home Instead in July.
What is your favourite part about being a care pro?
Well, working as a care pro is a great experience in itself. But the thing I enjoy the most is being able to make an enormous difference in people's lives. I get to be a part of a new family and I have many opportunities to learn with every care visit I make. This, is truly what's most important to me!
Tell us a little bit about yourself?
I am 26 years old. My father own's an agricultural business, while my mother is a homemaker and I have a younger brother (who is a student). I came to Canada last year to pursue my post graduate diploma in nursing practices after successfully getting my nursing degree and license in India. I worked as an RN in India, for 2 years, in the ICU department for a prominent hospital. My journey in Canada has been great so far and I am glad that I have Home Instead as a part of the journey through which I can help and serve wonderful senior clients with their daily care needs.
