Where were you born? Where did you grow up?
I was born and raised in Guadalajara Jalisco, Mexico.
How long have you worked at Home Instead?
I have been working with Home Instead since May 2022 (1 year and 6 months).
What is your favourite part about being a care pro?
Since I started work as a care pro, every day has been a special story with each of my clients. It is difficult for me to decide which is my favorite, because each one of them leaves me with a lesson and an emotional mark.
Whenever I am with my clients, I strive to do my best, I like to make them feel comfortable and special. It is important that they know that they are very important to me even if it is for the short period of time when we are together. My favorite moments when I am with my clients, are when I see them smile.
Tell us a little bit about yourself?
I am 42 years old, married to a wonderful husband, and we have two amazing sons. We have lived in BC for almost 2 years. Currently, I am studying towards completing my bachelor’s in business administration. I am very happy to have moved to Canada! Vancouver is an amazing place; so beautiful and where each day I learn something new.
