Meet Divine, a devoted mother of three beautiful girls with a whimsical hope for a baby boy to join their family soon. Hailing from the Philippines, a land of breathtaking beaches, Divine describes herself as initially shy and reserved, but once you get to know her, she's the life of the party, a true joker at heart. Her multifaceted personality, shaped by her experiences and surroundings, shines through as she shares snippets of her life with us.
In her free time, Divine indulges in an array of interests and hobbies. From binge-watching Korean dramas to baking delicious cookies and tending to her mini garden, she finds joy in the simple pleasures of life. An avid collector of Barbies and Polly Pockets, Divine dreams of one day owning her own flower shop, surrounded by the vibrant blooms she loves. Sushi aficionado and buffet enthusiast, Divine savors the experience of trying new foods and delights in the movement and vibrancy of life.
Despite considering a change in career path when moving to Canada, Divine who worked as Nurse in the Philippines and UAE found herself drawn back to her roots in healthcare. Working as a Personal Support Worker (PSW), she discovered newfound fulfillment in making a positive impact on her clients' lives, both professionally and personally. Through moments of laughter, shared stories, and genuine connections, Divine found purpose in her role, reaffirming her passion for nursing and the profound impact she can have on others.
Divine's journey with Home Instead began as a serendipitous twist of fate, steering her towards a path of meaningful connections and invaluable experiences. As a newcomer to Canada, she faced challenges, but found solace in the warm embrace of the Home Instead community. The unwavering support and genuine care extended to her during times of need reinforced her belief that Home Instead is more than just a workplace—it's a family away from home. One particular memory stands out—a heartwarming exchange with a client. Through laughter and playful banter, Divine and her client forged a special bond, filled with moments of joy and shared understanding. Despite the challenges they faced, their connection remained unwavering, a testament to the profound impact Divine has on those around her.
