Sima’s story picks up in 2012 when she moved to Canada, brought by her father in search of a better future. Her journey into the world of healthcare was inspired by her mother’s unfulfilled dream of becoming a nurse. With a strong passion for helping others, Sima found her calling in nursing, where she could provide the support and care that individuals need most.
Currently enrolled in Centennial College and pursuing a career as a Registered Nurse (RN), Sima is a testament to perseverance and dedication. Despite her busy academic schedule, she decided to seek practical experience and applied to Home Instead almost on a whim during exam week. To her surprise and delight, she received an interview call the very next day, marking the beginning of her rewarding journey with us.
Sima describes herself as shy initially, but those who get to know her quickly discover her vibrant, motivated, and occasionally clumsy nature. Her interests are as diverse as her personality—she enjoys singing and dancing, exploring nature through hiking, and spending relaxing days at home binge-watching anime and Netflix.
One of Sima’s favorite aspects of working with Home Instead is the opportunity to forge meaningful relationships with clients and their families. The sense of community and the positive environment cultivated by the team make her experience truly fulfilling. Sima cherishes the trust and understanding she builds with her clients, finding joy in the fascinating and heartwarming stories they share from their youth.
A memorable moment for Sima is the day she felt a deep sense of belonging with her clients. Every visit feels like coming home, as she looks forward to the amazing stories and the positive transformations resulting from the care provided by the team. The rewarding experience of witnessing the positive impact on clients’ lives fuels her passion and dedication to her career. Sima’s journey with Home Instead is a testament to her unwavering commitment to caregiving and her aspiration to become an RN. Her ability to provide exceptional care, coupled with her genuine compassion and dedication, makes her an invaluable member of our team.
