Lina, hailing from the picturesque Southern region of China, brings a touch of beauty and warmth to her caregiving. Together with her family, she now resides in Markham, Canada. Lina's simplicity is reflected in her approach to life, and this simplicity is a guiding light in her caregiving journey. Her love for handmade crafts, including beads, hair, and manicures, showcases a creative side that extends beyond her caregiving role. Additionally, Lina cherishes the opportunity to travel with her family, creating lasting memories together.
The pandemic, with its profound impact on lives worldwide, served as a catalyst for Lina to embark on a new career path as a Personal Support Worker (PSW). Witnessing the loss experienced by friends, neighbors, and families prompted her to make a positive difference. Lina feels she has found a warm and welcoming family at Home Instead where management's care and consideration for caregivers is evident. The scheduling flexibility during her available time, along with the kindness and patience of clients and their families during her early days, has made her Home Instead experience truly special.
Lina's role as a caregiver has exposed her to different cultures, allowing her to touch lives in meaningful ways. She finds happiness in her work, knowing that she contributes to the well-being of others. You would think Lina has been working in this field her entire life as her expertise and strong judgement is always on full display when taking care of her clients. No matter the day, you can always see a smile on her face and families have given amazing feedback on the presence she creates in their homes. We are truly lucky to have her on our team and witness the amazing work she does.
