Now Hiring: Caregivers for Part-Time/Casual Shifts

• Position: Part-Time/Casual Hours
• Location: Gabriola Island
• Shifts: 3-hour shifts, 3 days per week
• Rotation: Flexible
• Preferred Skills: Dementia training and personal care knowledge are considered assets.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to clients in their homes.
• Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene.
• Support medication management.
• Prepare meals and ensure proper nutrition.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks.
• Monitor and report changes in clients' health and well-being.
• Offer companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients.

Requirements

• Previous caregiving experience is an asset.
• Valid certifications or training in caregiving, personal support work, or related fields are an asset.
• Compassionate, reliable, and patient demeanor.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A clear criminal background check is required.
• Valid driver’s license and driving abstract.
