Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and organized Scheduler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in scheduling, preferably within the home care industry, and be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, and a willingness to fill in as a caregiver when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and schedule client appointments and caregiver assignments to ensure optimal service delivery.
Maintain accurate records of client and caregiver schedules using scheduling software.
Communicate effectively with clients, caregivers, and office staff to address scheduling needs and changes.
Assist with general office duties as needed, including filing, data entry, and answering phones.
Step in to provide caregiving services during staffing shortages or emergencies.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in scheduling or coordination, preferably in the home care or healthcare industry.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with scheduling software is a plus.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Flexibility to fill in as a caregiver when necessary; prior caregiving experience is preferred.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
