Meet Our Team

Lan Berry opened Home Instead in October 2007. He had previously owned two retail businesses, but decided he wanted to "Make a Difference." That is when he discovered non-medical in-home care services at Home Instead. Since that time, he has employed over 800 employees and has helped countless seniors in the Wiregrass area. Lan is a people person who enjoys music and spending time with his family. Lan’s mission is to help seniors look forward to the rest of their lives. He also wants to improve the lives of our client’s families and our CAREGivers. His door is always open to discuss concerns, issues or celebrations.

Rebecca Bruce has been with Home Instead since January 2008. She is our Office Manager and Bookkeeper. She is responsible for ensuring that our clients are billed correctly and that our CAREGivers are paid correctly.

Debbie Minniefield came to Home Instead with a wealth of knowledge and experience. She became our HR Manager and is responsible for hiring, training and the ongoing development of our CAREGivers.

Nicole Albritton started as a CAREGiver with Home Instead. She was then promoted to After Hours Supervisor and then transitioned to being our Scheduler. She is responsible for making sure that our clients have the best CAREGivers when they need them.

Lindsey Sheppard started at Home Instead as a CAREGiver. We asked her to come work in the office part time. She is now our Assistant Client Care Coordinator.

Vanessa Nix joined Home Instead in 2024. She is our Client Care Coordinator and is responsible for the overall satisfaction and well-being of our clients.

Rechelle Cook is our newest Home Instead addition. She is our part time Administrative Assistant. She will be helping our office staff with all of the day to day running of Home Instead.
