Be a Santa to a Senior

Be a Santa to a Senior, the holiday favorite, is celebrating its 20th Anniversary this year. Since launching nationwide in 2003, the program has provide more than 2.2 million gifts to older adults in need. Home Instead offices partner with local non-profit and community organizations to identify seniors who might not otherwise receive gifts this holiday season. The Home Instead offices then work with local businesses and retail stores to help facilitate the purchase and distribution of gifts by placing trees or other displays within the various locations. The displays include Be a Santa to a Senior ornaments, each with a local senior's gift request written on it which members of the community can purchase.
