Home Instead has been announced as the Silver winner of the 2020 Canadian Franchise Association (CFA) Awards of Excellence in Franchising in the Category of Non-Traditional 30+ Franchisees. Considered the pinnacle of franchise achievement in Canada, the CFA Awards of Excellence in Franchising are given annually to franchise systems that have demonstrated superior franchise relations, leadership, training and communications. This is the first year award winners have been announced virtually amidst COVID-19.
“On behalf of our franchise network, we are honoured to be recognized by the Canadian Franchise Association for our commitment to franchising in Canada,” says Jeff Huber, CEO of Home Instead, Inc. “In these challenging times, our franchise owners and their teams continue to demonstrate extraordinary dedication to serving isolated and vulnerable older adults across our 45 Canadian offices.”
In addition to the Award of Excellence, Home Instead also earned the CFA Franchisees’ Choice designation for the tenth consecutive year. The Franchisees’ Choice designees are CFA member franchise brands who voluntarily took part in an independently-administered survey. This year, more than 70 CFA member franchise brands participated in the survey. Franchisees were asked to assess their franchisor in key areas of the franchise business model, including the franchisee selection process, information package, leadership, business planning and marketing, training and support, as well as ongoing operations and the relationship between the franchisor and franchisee.
“Everyday Canadians sharing success and Growing Together™ is one of franchising’s core principles and what we celebrate year after year when we honor our Franchisees’ Choice Designees,” says Sherry McNeil, CFA President & Chief Executive Officer. “We extend our congratulations to all of this year’s Franchisees’ Choice Designees on receiving this remarkable vote of confidence from their franchisees.”
